Was in the area and found this corner restaurant. The wait is a little long but the food is good. It looks to be only ran by two-three people. The soup and salad were great. Sushi was mid.

First time customer! More of a classic sushi restaurant feel! Would be a cool date spot as the ambience is very intimate! Food ordered: Bento A; salmon teriyaki and tempura Volcano roll! Five start for first feelings will adjust after eating!

Was craving soup, so we decided to come here for a weekday lunch. We ordered the Chashu Miso Ramen, the Tempura Udon, and a Dragon roll to share. The portion of food was great for a mid-day lunch. I really enjoyed the miso-base broth, so that was excellent for its price point! Our food came out right away, which was great! The restaurant has a lot of seating available, being a smaller shop. We luckily came at the right time and was able to be seated very quickly even at noon! Our server was great. She was attentive to us filling our waters, helped us order exactly what we wanted, she even packaged our leftovers. Great place for a quick lunch with a good size portion! Definitely will come again when craving udon as well!

We came here because we wanted to try a new sushi spot in town. We're pretty married to our usual spot and decided to go outside the norm. This place had been recommended to us by a couple that also loves our usual spot. It was good, service was extremely friendly. Our server was great about making suggestions as to what people love from there. Casual spot with lots of options to choose from. I have to say it didn't beat our favorite, but it's a great place for when we want to stay a little closer to home while still enjoying delicious sushi.

I first came to Manpuku close to ten years ago now. I haven't dined here lately but stopped in last week for a weekday lunch. They had a few other customers but we were seated right away. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Service was quick even as they had takeout orders coming in as well. I really enjoyed the BBQ tuna bento and their spider roll was good. Their menu is quite large so I look forward to trying something new next time.

I really enjoy sushi and bento boxes at this place. The lady who works out front is an absolute sweetheart and was so caring to my toddler, and brought her the cutest little child's plate with oranges and edamame. Some of the first veggies she's eaten in a long time! She fusses over the presentation just a tad, ensuring you have a nice table with appropriate plates and bowls and everything laid out nicely. The food is always done very quickly, and the bento boxes are such a good deal. I love the Korean Spicy Pork bento, but then it's my favorite dish almost anywhere. My husband and daughter both love the pork katsu. Truly their sushi though is excellent quality. He gets the sashimi bento and it's always very fresh. The rolls are sizeable and well-put together. I will say I didn't love their ramen, but I was also pregnant at the time and therefore my taste buds are untrustworthy. One thing I do know for sure though is that their restaurant is freezing in the wintertime because of all the glass -- dress warmly. The first time I kept my wool coat on. The warmth of the staff make up for it...mostly. Great place for a quick, no-frills lunch or dinner, with PARKING, which matters when most of the exciting food is downtown with none.
